We’d like to welcome Austin Wright to the staff. Austin brings a wealth of baseball knowledge and experience to our program. He was a high school standout at James B. Conant High
School in Hoffman Estates. In Austin’s junior year in high school, he was selected to play on the Aflac All-American Team;representing the top 38 baseball players in the nation.
Austin was drafted out of high school by the Pittsburg Pirates (2008), but at the time he made the decision to attend Chipola College. Following his sophomore year, Austin was drafted
by the Boston Red Sox (2010), but again decided to focus on his education and attended the University of Mississippi. After Austin’s junior year at Ole Miss (2011), he was
drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 8th round where he played from 2011-2015. He was considered a ‘top prospect’ in the organization by major league baseball and
was named Minor League Pitcher of the Year in 2012. After his time with the Phillies, Austin played with three other major league organizations including Arizona
Diamondbacks (2016), Colorado Rockies (2017), and the Tampa Bay Rays (2018).
Most recently (2019), Austin played for the Chicago Dogs and successfully earned the strike out record for the entire American Association.
Austin is a left-handed pitcher with a consistent fastball of 95-99mph. He has a passion for baseball, and is excited to share his knowledge that can translate to success both on the
field and off.

Julian Martinez, Hitting Instructor Trinity International University. Martinez was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in 1985 and spent 8 seasons playing Professional Baseball. In addition,
he has coached on the major league level for 13 seasons which includes a five-year stint with the Chicago Cubs (doubled as Sammy Sosa's personal hitting instructor)
and an eight-year stint with the Washington Nationals where he has worked with MLB superstars Ryan Zimmerman and Bryce Harper.
